Match4Democracy uses a kick starter model which allows citizens to pledge donations to their favorite charity , in exchange for politicians from both parties agreeing to discuss the donor's issue and undertake a number of steps, including meeting for dinner and agreeing to make a joint statement. Each step releases more of the money to the charity.

Introducing @Match4Democracy
This is the project Clara, Guillaume, Dan, Ceci and I worked on as part of the 2 day Hack4Congress at K School. The objective of Match4Democracy is to raise the levels of bipartisanship in Congress by identifying issues and matching representatives to try to reach consensus. Congress currently operates at a level of hyperpartisanship unprecedented in the history of the Union. As of August 2014 the count of bills passed stood at a miserly 23.
